Iron on Fara

The trip to Fara planned for yesterday was postponed due to bad weather, and then shifted to later in the day. But we managed over. Nine on a small scallop boat which went quite fast on quite rough water but it was good.
We were lucky with the weather and I found plenty of ruins and old iron to photograph. One odd moment was when I saw a black furry creature in a niche on a wall. It was, of all things, a black rabbit. Birds were the usual until I saw three beautiful arctic skuas chasing each other though the sky. I had only got my first of the spring this korning, when four flew over Kirkwall.
