Kiss From A Rose

We had a quiet day today. An early morning run and then the food shop and a pint at one of our favourite watering holes.
I hadn't seen anything for a blip until I was sitting in our living room and this wonderful winter afternoon light started streaming through the back of the house and I saw this rose in a vase on our dining room table highlighted by the sun. I like the refraction of the light as it passed through the glass. It almost looks like the rose was kissing the glass - or it could just be an excuse to use the name of a Seal track for a blip title! :-)
My extra is a bit more abstract but is shot through the same window. The strange looking shape on the right of the image is actually a door handle and not an alien lifeform - sorry to disappoint! :-)
