Lovely red sky

To start a busy day. This was actually taken through the kitchen window, so unfortunately there’s some blurry patches. Lots of phone call chores in the morning which went better than usual.  Then the Oxfam shop - where our manager had a much deserved day off, so the volunteers were left to run things.  Between us we managed ok, and took a lot of money too. 
In the evening I went round to friends to eat.  Three of us - each made a course.  Middle Eastern style soup to start, Italian veggie dish for mains, and I contributed an apple and blackcurrant crumble. It was lovely to eat good food together and catch up on news and thoughts.  When I left, just after 10, there was already a thick white frost on the ground and all over parked cars. So cold again. Lovely to have a cosy bed to go to.
