To the rescue . . .

. . . again!

We set out this afternoon to do some shopping but had not gone long when the car warned about tyre pressure . . . a puncture!

Managed to return home and called the RAC . . . again. It doesn't seem that long ago that this happened before. The RAC guy came very promptly and put the spare tyre on. He found a screw in the tyre. How does one get a screw in the tyre? Who leaves screws in the road?

Gordon mused about how in the past he would have changed the tyre himself no bother, but now . . . far too difficult, best to leave it someone who knows what they are doing.

I have found myself drawn time and again to the live tracking of the Spine Race - fascinating to watch the front runners get closer and closer to the finish. 'Our two' came in together this afternoon in 9th and 10th places. What an amazing thing to do.
