Our monthly meeting, the talk was about the Indian contribution in the First World War. The speaker is a Nottingham GP who has researched the contribution from his village in present day Pakistan. A very personal view involving his grandfathers and an incredible number of photographs.

I spent the afternoon making a needle case, to complete yesterday’s set. I’ve included one of the little cross stitch vegetables that I did last year. (I’ve added a picture of the set in extras)

The task before dinner was to tidy up all the chaos in the sewing room. When I set out to do these projects it involves pulling out boxes and bits and pieces to find things that I know are there somewhere!!
