A GREAT START TO THE DAY AND A REMINDER

From our bathroom window, I could see that the sky was blue so was delighted when I went back into our bedroom and drew back the curtains to see this beautiful sunrise with so much promise for a good day.

Feeling a little “down” today for various reasons, so it was good to be reminded of this in my daily reading from the book “In the Presence of Jesus”:

“Your life ahead will be full of joy and pain,
     grief and celebration, birthdays and funerals.
However, do not let the heartaches take away
     your zeal for living an eternal quality of life.
Life is still a gift to be cherished
     amid all the hardship.”
