Postcard from Seville

Today is our last day in Seville, and the weather has changed. The temperature has dropped 10 degrees (from 31 to 21 so I'm not complaining). The music festival we were attending finished last night with music composed for and in Spanish Latin America, so lots of strange instruments and very lively music.

Today we have been finishing off our sight-seeing. This typical tourist snap is of the Plaza de Espana (thanks to Tammiegirl for the tip!). It's the centrepiece of the 1929 Ibero-Americana Exposicion - a World Fair. This huge building show-cases Spanish industry and commerce, particularly tile manufacturing, with tile displays for all the Spanish regions. And it's definitely on the horse-drawn carriage route!
