Monday: The Mayan Head

It’s a busy week and today started off in that vein.  I had a fair few meetings in the office but was also out for a bit.

Unlike Vancouver, evening engagements in Belize are rare.  But tonight I did have a working dinner with a visiting contact so that was quite exciting.  We went to a restaurant I hadn’t been to before.  The food was good, even if the atmosphere was a bit stark.

I took this on the drive home.  Belmopan is centred around a ring road, so there are four roundabouts.  I’m not sure what its official title is but, for obvious reasons, we call this one the Mayan Head.  I bet you can’t wait to see the other three.
