Tuesday: Shaw’s Farm

Today was a pleasantly relaxing day.  We started off at John Pennekamp State Park where we had a nice walk along the trails, ending up at Shaw’s Citrus Farm.  I think the farm is a thing of the past but it was still a pleasant  walk.  From there, we headed to the local bird sanctuary where birds are taken in who can’t survive in the wild.

We did a bit of shopping for some things to take back and then enjoyed a leisurely afternoon sitting by the water and reading.

Back to the local brewery tonight and then sushi for dinner.  All my food and beer needs have been met.
