Evening Walk….

Three young people wade across the outlet from the Kaiteriteri Estuary. The tide was racing in. The girls, laughing, had to hurry to avoid getting wet. Today is the last day of our holiday here In Kaiteriteri. The last two weeks have flown by. We had rain very early this morning. We were relieved when the sun came out and the day heated up as we wanted the gazebo to dry out before we took it down and stored it in the car. Most of day was spent packing up our camping gear. We met with friend Lynda at the “Waterfront” cafe during the afternoon. Coffee and fries. And happy chatter.
I love this place and will be sad to leave tomorrow.
