The days are getting longer

This  morning I had an earlier than usual start as I had a routine dental appointment at 9am. (How did I use to get to  work for 8.30, for thirty years or more ?!).
In the afternoon I booked some social events for us to attend in the coming  couple of months. Then I noticed the sun was setting, and rushed outside to catch it. This was taken at 17.07, so the days are definitely lengthening.
