Today's the day .................... to say thanks

This is Lily - the newest member of our extended family, born just before Christmas, the beautiful daughter of niece Lizzy and Alex.  This is the card that we received last week thanking us for a small gift that we sent to them.  Needless to say, it was our pleasure - and how nice it is to have this lovely card from them. 

We also had something very nice happen today, in the form of a visit from friends Jane and Rob, who were staying nearby.  This was the first time they had been here, so it was good to be able to show them round. 

It's always lovely to catch up with good friends - thanks for calling in, you two - it was great to see you .......................!  .
