We had winter

For a few hours, we had winter. The tiny little bits of snow on the ferns looks cool. Green new shoots keep coming up, I think I'll roll up the chicken wire this week. 

Neighbors who let me practice couples photography on them asked me to photograph family visiting, so as soon as I get back I have that to look forward to. 

Today the forms broke me. 

The head of USAID pulled a rabbit out of a hat. Someone found old money that was supposed to help Russia long ago. Instead it will help Ukraine and Moldova. $135 million. Another $18 million will support Russian pro-democracy groups, including independent media, human rights monitors, and civil society groups. 

USAID  has provided 1,719 generators to Ukraine for schools, hospitals, and shelters. 1,448 shut-off valves to 18 cities so pipes can be repaired. Eight 35kw generators.  

USAID provided $13 billion to pay the salaries of medical professionals in Ukraine, including psychiatrists and pediatricians. 

France is supplying Ukraine with air defense radar systems
