Thursday: Sprouting Supermarket Garlic ...

... which has been sitting on the kitchen windowsill for a week or so, have finally been planted outside in a trough of homemade compost which was home to some of the tomatoes last summer :

The nice foliage behind the pot of garlic is Anthemis punctata which has recovered from it's weedy start last year :

So much growth, in fact, that I've taken a dozen cuttings which are sitting on the kitchen windowsill in a pot of water - if half of them take root I will be very happy! I'll keep you posted ...
