missing words competition

I nearly had a heart attack when this popped up on my phone.  I had a colonoscopy in November and a CT scan at the end of December, but since then I’ve heard nothing.  Nada.  Not a squeak.  And now - surgery?

I try to read the appointment letter, but it’s virutally impossible on my phone.  It’s about 30 minutes before I can get home and read it on my computer.  Anniemay watches as I download the letter.

There are two words missing from the heading of this communication;  one is outpatients and the other is department.  Hmm.

So - not a scalpel, but a chat.  Presumably about the results of the scan.
