Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

By Carol

2023 Tuesday — January’s Goodbye

We’ve enjoyed a fun day, even if I am exhausted. We were told that the supplies for our construction would not be here for one more day, so we turned this into another play day. Costco in SLO had notified us that a prescription for Mitzi was renewable. We said, “Fill it!” and that gave us the excuse to go for a ride.

We stopped at the “Achievement House” thrift store back behind Cuesta College. The college is located about halfway to SLO and is a wonderful place that employs many mentally challenged young people. I found and purchased a box of buttons. In the future I hope to use them in a crafting project.

Then we headed to Costco. It’s always a little crazy with too many people shopping with giant-sized grocery carts.

Then we made a stop at Hobby Lobby because they had a couple Valentine decorations I had seen previously and wanted.

Then it was time to get to the super duper real market, Ralph’s, to get lots and lots of canned goods. Stocking-up was the goal and after (I’m guessing) 60 minutes my goal was accomplished. We are hearing that another shutdown is coming. The “elites” at the conference in Switzerland think all natural gas and electricity should be shut off and all non electric vehicles should be parked (but they fly around the world in their private jets; not sure how this makes sense). So we are preparing for what this might lead to.

Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
