Today's the day ...................... to be out

A lovely sunny day today, still chilly but so nice to be out in the garden doing a bit of tidying up before things start growing in earnest.

The first camellia flowers are out on the ancient bush/tree that was here when we came.  It has coped with sub-zero temperatures for many a winter and is always the first to flower.  And, even nicer, was to have a chat in the garden with our neighbours across the road, Claire and John.  They have a new dog, Ruby the dachshund - and it was good to catch up with her too (see extra).

Great to be out in the fresh air - and sunshine .......................
