Blue

I hadn't realised how much beautiful blue was in this shot until I got it home and on to the lap top.

All morning I was delighted by the effect blue sky and sunlight was having on us all. The hairdresser's was a daft and funny an experience as ever, haircut-and-laughter. Airdrie town centre which, while not as terminally dread-inducing and litter bedraggled as Coatbridge, has been a depressing place for months, was suddenly full of colour and movement, most of its vacant shops filled and open, the pan pipers in full feathered headgear in full flight with 'You Raise Me Up'; a wee guy with a guitar belting out the country & western further up; and importantly, lots of smiling going on.
