Sandgreen

Today's the day ......................... for a beach walk

We discovered a new beach today, more or less by chance.

We had to go and pick something up at Sandgreen, to the west of us along the Solway Coast.  Once we'd done that, we couldn't resist following the signpost to the beach.  And this is it, a vast expanse of sand with views across Fleet Bay to the beaches at Mossyard and Cardoness.

I know it looks a bit grey here - but it was actually an invigorating place to be.  We'll go back when the sun shines and the weather warms up - and see how it looks then .......................!
