Pottery

I cut down the remainder of the buddleia this morning and managed to ram all the cuttings into my green bin for collection this week. Hard work!

Then this afternoon it was another class at the pottery where the theme was ‘joining’. I’d made two bowls last week that I was intending to join today, but then the tutor persuaded me to add a small cylinder I’d made to make it into a bottle shaped vase. It’s a bit wonky but I’ve never made anything like this so it was fun to try joining pieces together. Be interesting to see how it fires.
