Sue Does Countdown

A windy day, cold too.  Showers in the morning and more this evening.  Mostly overcast. 

Day off, and slept well.  A morning puttering about the house, and then headed out walkies, popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  In the afternoon I managed to get washing out on the line, then headed down to Laura's.  Mam was along, and Elise was home early after a prelim exam.  Working in the shop this evening, and a busy night.  Feet up now. 

While we sat down for a cuppa and chat, the telly was on in the background.  Countdown came on Channel 4, which has always been a family favourite over the years.  Next we knew, Sue Beer appeared on the telly taking part in the show.  Sue has lived in Shetland for a long time now, and well and truly part of the community.  I did see on social media she had a post about her appearance a while back, but had forgotten about it.  Sadly she didn't win today's show, but she did great.  Taken at Laura's, Blett Road, Cunningsburgh.
