For Lara

We have had quite a busy day. Our son and family stayed overnight and we babysat so that they could go out to a nice local restaurant last night. Today our daughter and family came over and we all went to two local playgrounds and took Libby for a walk too. They all rode their bikes as there are quite good paths and wide pavements to get there. It was nice to have all of them together, the first time since Christmas.

After a nice lunch at home and some playing, which included hide and seek around the house, they all left.

My daughter told me about a colleague who has just had a baby called Lara and asked me if she could have one of the teddies I knit periodically. So after they left I put an L on the front so that she can take it when she goes to see the baby this week. The pattern I use is one from the “Teddies for Tragedies” website. I have made quite a few over the years and had made two recently while not so mobile. They don’t take too long to knit but take ages to actually sew up! 

Rather a dismal day but not too cold.
