Cally Palace

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . to reminisce

This lovely hotel is where my parents celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1997 (see extra).

All the immediate family were there too and we had a wonderful weekend enjoying all the facilities that it had to offer - golf, fishing, swimming pool and on the Saturday night there was a Dinner Dance with proper dancing. It was wonderful and I know my parents were very happy to have everyone there, to spend time together.

Cally Palace is actually only about seven miles from where we live now and Will had the lovely idea that we should return here - in this, the year of our own Golden Wedding Anniversary.  So here we are, for one night only, staying at Cally and remembering how it was all those years ago . . . . . . .
