Leaving Arran
Our last monring on the island was by far the best weather we've had for our trip! On the return ferry journey we were treated to views of Goatfell and the other Arran ridges which were all in cloud for the rest of the stay. I was just happy that we'd got to see them before we went. We'll have to come back in better weather.
Had a lovely few days at Auchrannie and we definitley think we made the right choice in having a luxury few days away rather than a 'normal' week's holiday - for the next big anniversary we might just have to save up to see if we can have a 'luxury' week!
Had a very lazy day, packing, getting ther ferry and then making the hour-ish drive back home whilst listening to some Dan Carlin. The cats were glad to see us, if a little feral, and when we got back the neighbours were having a bit of work done on their roof. The gaffer had gone for some paint and left his pal to wait, and he was sat on the roof for a wee while, so we offered him a coffee. It's been a lovely sunny day, and the views have been fab, but it's still a bit chilly out!
Looking forward to having the rest of the week off before returning to work.
