A different view

Popped into Morrison to take advantage of their wine offer so took Fletch along Town Quay .
Very quiet, as usual although it was packed at the weekend as 1000s turned up to cheer on the sub as it set off up to Faslane and sea trails. There was a great sense of pride in this ship building town. People dwell on the skills that were needed to build it rather than what it might be used for. May it only be used as a deterrent to help maintain peace

There are plans to build apartments, hotels etc alongside the dock. They have started to clear the area nearby. A one point along the path the wooden fence has collapsed and it made an interesting frame for the distant church, St George's , the oldest in town I think.
