Get away from the edge!

A lovely day!
We drove up to Ulverston to meet Flavia13. 
The sun was shining and it felt very spring like.

We strolled up The Gill and Fletch was full of energy and raring to go.
At one point by the 'waterfall' the path has been eroded .  Just as well I've a ( reasonably) well behaved dog
  It was such pleasant weather so we carried on walking up the hill. A bit muddy and steep  but we made it without slipping. Fletch shot up there like a puppy.  That dog has  been so ill on and off for several months so it was wonderful to see him so fit and agile. 

I'd booked a  table at Gillams and was pleased that we were able to sit in a quieter corner as it was very busy. 
A light lunch and a good catch up chat with my good friend.

A  very pleasant day.
