Amaryllis

This is an amaryllis from a bulb I was given for Christmas. So it has taken about nearly two months to develop the flowers. It has been on our kitchen window sill and the background is our red blind! I have another amaryllis which was planted a bit later but now has a big bud so hopefully that will come out when this one has faded.

Nice to see blue sky today so I went for my 20 minute circuit walk from the house . It’s getting very boring not being able to swim, ride a bike or do the other things I usually do for exercise. But I have to be patient for a few more weeks. Another walk later with Libby in local area from the house.

The family came for lunch and we played the Happy Families card game which I have not done for years.
