Black swan

The Swan couple in Sydney Park recently hatched four cygnets. Within a small number of days only one remained. Still they swam about as a family, the adults fiercely protective of their baby. Today I was sad to see only one adult, the subject of my blip. 

The sub theme for today is blunt or sharp. Note the swan's sharpness of eye and claw. 

So you can see its wonderful red beak and eye, I have put a colour photo of it as an extra.
