Strike ( day )
Today and tomorrow are strike days in schools here. Moat of my teacher friends would rather fight for more equipment and support in classrooms than for a higher pay rise. I'm all for the strikes and support them. I do feel for those though that have no childcare.
I was very lucky and could take my wildlings to work with me as there were no students. They absolutely loved it. And got on brilliantly. The jedi loved the safespace / relaxing room and Harp and the boys loved our outdoor space. And I felt so relaxed as it's completely blocked off so the jedi couldn't escape. They played games, Lincoln built a mini lego titanic as that's his project at school and he is great at absorbing info. They played on the swings and all the outside equipment. We have a trampoline that can be used for wheelchair users, a special swing, ramps, the lot.
I said if they behaved I would take them to macdonalds for lunch and to meet our friend and her daughter.
Poor Lincoln was knackered cycling home. His legs are still tired from Sundays mountain walk. I can understand as my thighs were killing me pulling 7stone in the bike trailer. Last night I was sleeping on the sofa by 8pm . Hehe.
Xander did amazing at football last night. The training is fantastic. But it was freezing standing around.
For those asking about my shoulder. Definitely working and doing the job I'm doing is making it twinge through the day and I need to take a painkiller at night. But it can take a year to fully recover from the surgery. And it's so much better than what it was before surgery.
Is it bedtime yet..... I'm pooped.
