On My Radio

Last rehearsal before tech and dress but we couldn’t start on time because two of our actors were being interviewed live on local radio. So here we all are listening to the broadcast to see how many of us get a name check. I was quite chuffed to get a mention, especially considering I don’t actually have that many lines in the show!
When our stars returned, we were able to run two of the three episodes in costume and with mics on. It was helpful for the backstage and tech teams as it highlighted a few issues that will need sorting before dress rehearsal.
But we’re not able to get in the theatre now until next Monday. Nice to have a bit of time off, but I do hope it doesn’t make next week too busy. There is already talk of having to rehearse next Thursday, which was supposed to be our night off before we go live. The more seasoned performers amongst us had already anticipated this might happen and had marked the day out of our diaries accordingly…
