Farewell dinner

On our first day in Clarinbridge we dined at Paddy Burke's.  So when our neighbour K suggested we eat out together before leaving, it seemed apposite to suggest Paddy's.  Unfortunately we missed bidding goodbye to S - she and the new baby have flown to India for a couple of months to meet all the relatives.  

It was rather a nice meal - a large dish of mussels in a tasty, but not too rich, sauce for me, fish and chips for W.

And an excellent evening of chatting.

Otherwise, it's all coming together.  Packing is progressing.  Our man with a van is coming to load up tomorrow evening, so we can get an early start on Saturday morning.  The paperwork is all sorted for our stuff to come over from storage, so we will only be "camping" for a few nights.  Still no word on the delivery of our beds - that'll be something to chase up tomorrow.
