On the move again ...

.... and we hope this will be the last time for many years.

Our man with a van came and loaded up this evening.  Next door's cat was hanging around we thought he was going to try to hitch a lift.  Fortunately, we've seen him (he was trying to get in our car as we loaded some stuff in there!) since the van left, so we know he's not in there.

We had spent quite a few hours packing stuff into boxes, and trying to give the apartment a decent clean as we went.  Our landlord turned up after the van had gone, but whilst we were still trying to pack stuff into the car, with a propective new tenant.

This morning, we discovered that the beds from Harvey Norman had to go back to Dublin, to be despatched to the Waterford store.  Our previous contact had told us they would go straight to Waterford from Galway!  And someone cocked up and sent the wrong bed back - so they haven't left Dublin yet!  So no chance of them arriving at our house tomorrow, despite what we were previously promised!  The floor manager (today's contact) was apologetic, but it really hasn't been impressive service!

So we've had to book a few days in an AirBnb near Wexford, as camping with no chairs was possible, but sleeping on the floor really isn't an option!

As I write this, W is still working, packing the last few bits into a box.  I need to help load it into the car.  See you tomorrow in Wexford.
