Patio Time in Canada...

Tired of waiting....

Yes, I did have another iPhoto sunrise to post..(extra removed)..but in the interest of variety, I chose not to... and then..hahah..My neighbours gave me the perfect alternative! 

I took my new camera down to the lake with me, but it was too cold in the wind to play around with settings..(fingers became painfully cold in seconds) and besides, I had not yet read enough of the manual to know what I was doing.....so I should not have been surprised when the sunrise photos  I took with it, were coming out royal blue ?  Something was not working right...which meant it would be best to just give up for now and go back home and read the manual! 

But I could not resist one more shot. There was a pale full moon still in the western sky, and I have always wanted to be able to take a photo of the moon and have it turn out looking like a moon..I have a 65X optical zoom on this darned thing...so why not try it out? Voila! What fun! A moon - not just a little white dot! And I thought it looked ever so funky after I turned the light right down in edit...(extra removed) Golden moon on black? Why not? 

I might end up really liking this camera...
