Receding rain

A day of sunshine and wintry showers.

We had a long drive up to Dublin and back for W to see an orthopaedic surgeon regarding his shoulder.

We set off in sunshine - a little frustrating as I've quite a pile of washing, and the rest of the week is forecast wall to wall rain.

Drove north into rain and cold.  In fact, as we set off home, it was sleeting, though as we drove south we came back into sunshine, for a while.  But we arrived home in rain, though just as we pulled up, it cleared somewhat - we could see it still on the hills to the south west.
