On the lookout
We had a good morning at church, service, followed by Bible study. It was a new study this week, which started last week when we were away, a study on the gospel of John by Adam Hamilton, who is pastor of a huge Methodist church in Kansas, and is quite a prolific publisher, particularly of studies like these, which comes with a DVD which features him presenting to a group in his church. He’s a very good writer, as well as speaker, very natural and easy to listen to. In the afternoon we went walking at Otto Armledder Park, where I spotted this hawk up in a tree (I believe it’s a red-tailed hawk, but I’m open to correction). It wasn’t a very long walk, I wasn’t feeling very energetic for some reason. The park lies beside the Little Miami River, which was high and running quite fast.
