Decimalisation…February 1971!

Another dreary day so I decided to do more sorting of photos and old paperwork. I came across bank statements from long ago and this is when I was a student just after I had opened a bank account. Decimalisation in February 1971.
I think I can shred most of these but it was interesting to look through and see how much my monthly pay was in 1990s etc. I think I have another box file of pay slips so will have to tackle those too and maybe keep a few!

Sorting of photos completed until 1993…..I used to get two copies of everything printed to give to our children’s grandparents etc. so there are lots of duplicates which I will give to my daughter and grandchildren to look at and then discard.
