New York 2001

 Most of today was spent making a chair cover for one of our chairs which is now in the kitchen diner, I have made it from an IKEA blanket!

I also went to the local hall to hear our local GP practice give a presentation about their services and also the local pharmacists too. I thought it was odd to have it from 2-3pm as anyone who works could not attend. I think they were doing this because when they were last inspected they got a poor report for their admin! It was not very exciting or enlightening except that the pharmacy offers more services than I realised.

I have sorted photos from 1995 and 1996 and also came across a batch of postcards from a holiday to New York which we did with our children at Easter 2001…I have photos of them at the top of one of the twin towers. Little did we know what would happen in September that year.  I do remember where I was when they planes flew into the towers…I had left work early for once and was in the gym so watched it unfold while on an exercise bike!
