Isolation – Day 2

Soooooo after testing positive for COVID yesterday, Ann contacted her boss (she was due to work today & tomorrow) and was told that she couldn't return to work for 5 days....................


Mmmmmmm........................ this whole isolation thing is a real farce. Ann felt really ill on Fri/Sat (but was testing negative) so struggled into work. She thought she just had a cold............... In retrospect, she probably had COVID (even though her tests were negative). TBH, she's probably infected half the population of Morningside by now?!!


Grrrrr..................... what is the point of all this anymore? COVID is supposed to be over.................. Why is everyone still so paranoid?


Anyway, because my human 'officially' has COVID she 'officially' cannot go to work for 5 days.....................


Sooooooo...................... as it was the looviest, sunniest, day that we've had for ages....................... off we went on a little adventure for the day. We left the house at 9.30am and didn't get home till about 5pm.


We've had the bestest day out. Walked for about 10.5 miles in total. Those of you who are our FB friends can see lots of photos. …..........For the rest of you, this is Ann's fav photo of me today.


River walk at Haddington, beach walk at Gullane & then Yellow Craigs, a walk around North Berwick and then on the way home a quick moochie around Figgate Park.


We've had the most fantastic day out together..................... but Ann still feels guilty that she wasn't allowed to go to work.....................


Oh well, hey ho, she doesn't make the rules does she???
