Mottisfont NT

Today we went to the National Trust property Mottisfont , quite near Romsey. We had never been there before and we were very pleased it was such nice weather for our visit! It was very busy with lots of families, including ours, doing the Easter trail with various activities round the garden so that when they exit they get an Easter Egg. All the daffodils were still out as well as nice tulips and hyacinths in this photo by the main house. We had a quick lunch in the Stable Cafe, sitting outside in the sun!

For part of our journey we traveled alongside the River Test which was very swollen and in some places there were floods. At Mottisfont some are as had been roped off as they were so muddy.
