Fire hazard

It is a bit concerning when your son’s birthday cards contain references to fire engines and fire extinguishers. We have done away with the individual candles and gone for the block numbers so the risk from flames should be reduced.

A traditional birthday meal was enjoyed of chicken in breadcrumbs and then home made chocolate cake with chocolate ganache (another reason to keep the heat down in the kitchen).

Also very impressed that our 4 week old grandson can send his uncle a card!
