Scottish Maritime Museum

Have had a very fine visit to the Scottish Maritime Museum, down in Irvine, today - have never been before and would highly recommend it, if you're ever around North Ayrshire ...

... the Museum is really quite vast and has an excellent collection of boats and assorted industrial machinery - have tried to put together a bit of a collage representing our day!

The main focus of our visit was to 'meet/speak to' staff at the adjoining Scottish Boat Building School, who just could not have been more helpful :-)
