Tulips

Such a glorious spring day with sunshine streaming through the tulips in our neighbour’s garden - today’s blip just has to be these beautiful flowers. 

In our own garden, still shaded from the full strength of the sun by the tree-covered hill behind us, our tulips remain in tight buds, but we do have tiny violas reaching out towards the light (in extras).

Apologies, but after a morning foray into flower photography, it’s not been too good a day health wise, so please forgive my failure to respond to journals last night. I will catch up!
