Hailstones

I had plans for the Bank Holiday. After preparing - i.e. light forking - my 4 large beds at the back, I was meant to sow 4 rows of seeds per bed over 4 days. 

But it's April and gardening plans don't always work out at this time of year. It was sunny when I opened my 1st packet of seeds and the next minute heavy rain and hailstones. I've managed 1 row of lambs lettuce, the other rows will have to wait.
