Unusual, very unusual..

With a few showers from time to time, interspersed with some sunshine during the day, we did not expect a thunder storm. Friend Dawn and I had a busy day in town. There were lots of folk around enjoying the Easter Sales. Later in the afternoon I called in to Cathie’s with Granny Smith apples for her. As I left to head home there was the biggest, longest roll of thunder I have ever heard. Great big black clouds were piled up in the north west and heading my way. Once home with car in the garage., the clouds opened and let loose torrential rain. It was shortlived thank goodness , but it left a bonus in the sky to the south east…. A very unusual double rainbow with darker clouds between them.
