Zoo blooms

We enjoyed a glorious visit to Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical gardens today, where masses of tulips were at peak bloom, as well as many other varieties of flowering shrubs. Everything was rendered so much more vibrant by the bright blue sky and sunshine - reaching a high of 78F (26C) ! Unfortunately, a number of the animals weren’t especially photogenic today - the sunshine seemed to have made them sleepy(!) - but I did put some of my better photos in a second collage in extras, featuring a male lion, a kangaroo, little blue penguin and an ostrich.
