Rain on the windows
One of those all day rain days where nothing changed and crossing the yard between barn and house was unpleasant. I sent this picture of garden Spanish bluebells (the bad ones) to my writer in Leeds as we were both moaning about being confined to barracks. I see the forecast is good for next week, when I’m in Glasgow. I think the garden is largely going to have to take care of itself this summer
Day started with a call from the big boss in Italy to tell me the UK boss was resigning. Under a cloud. Not the place for corporate politics but suffice it to say that we’ll be in a better place as we’ll now be part of the wider Drama Group within the corporate whole.
A call on a project we hope is going ahead. I spun into the local town to do some chores in the rain and to try and send back my Thrift+ bag but the organisation has got so complicated it didn’t go through.
Watched the Italian show, Good Mothers on Disney+ written by a good friend Stephen and directed beautifully by a British director who I’ve worked with several times. Strong recommend if you have Disney+.
