Made for buses

I do like horse chestnut trees in blossom. I like them later in the year when they shed the conkers.

We acti grew some horse chestnut trees from seed simply by planting some conkers in pots. They are now growing in my brother's garden.

The shape of this tree enables double decker buses to pass under the branches without damage to either.

In other news I've passed the first aid course again so I'm still qualified to apply plasters and bandages.....
