There's no smoke without fire

Hi everyone!

Well today has been different. After our usual visit to Nana's, we were on our way home, when we noticed smoke in the distance. We crossed a bridge, and smoke was billowing out from somewhere underneath (It's a valley underneath, with loads of trees and a few houses). I don't know if anyone was hurt. I took this photo just after getting home, and it was like that for about an hour and a half.

Later, a search and rescue helicopter flew over our house, which is a really unusual path for it to take. It flew back again about 25 minutes later. Also, there was an emergency landing at Heathrow today, which I obviously found very interesting.
