Still Life with Bananas

It’s almost 7 weeks to Midsummer’s Day and it feels so cold that I’m  wearing the same clothes as I did in December. Not only is the NE wind cutting, it’s grey and dreich too. My phone tells me it is to get even colder next week with a north wind straight off the Arctic. Heaven help us!


The cherry trees in the Meadows are about to spring into action- I just hope the blossom is not frozen on the bough.

I have been out and about today but it’s an inside blip that found its way into the can.
