Snow Melting Fast

… and a big boulder on the way up to La Vare today. A wonderful walk above the clouds and in the clouds alternately (clouds in extra). I thought there was nobody else around then a jolly man came up behind me, full of bonhomie, wanting to share his early morning joy … noisily! There must have been 40 chamois who were not impressed and sprinted up the mountainside! My back worked well to that point so I decided to turn around and return down!
